Daily Omer Wellness Practice 5780 Day 49: in preparation for the journey that is Shavuot, we’ll mirror the motions of preparing for an expedition.
Daily Omer Wellness Practice 5780 Day 48: for today’s practice of Yesod within Malkhut — foundation within the sovereign material world — SooJi Min-Maranda guides us through a mindfulness practice utilizing the four-worlds framework to help work through all the stages needed for a bountiful harvest.
Daily Omer Wellness Practice 5780 Day 47: In this practice, you’ll be asked to envision this sovereign self, and then tell the story of how that came to be. For some, that may be a quite literal version of yourself as royalty. For others, royalty may be the farthest possible vision from where you see yourself ever becoming. In either case, it’s less the external vestments of this personage that matter. It’s the qualities that we embody, and the journey we’ve undergone in this process of becoming.
Daily Omer Wellness Practice 5780 Day 46: a practice encouraging us to assess how the priorities in our lives map out to the patronage that's actually happening from day to day.
Daily Omer Wellness Practice 5780 Day 45: For today’s practice of Tiferet within Malkhut — compassion within sovereignty — we tap into the archetype of the compassionate, forgiving monarch who gives pardon and shows mercy.
Daily Omer Wellness Practice 5780 Day 44: To tap into our own sovereign selves, we need to be able to create boundary and distinction in ways that allow us to center and root ourselves, to feel strong and safe within ourselves. For today’s practice of Gevurah within Malkhut — strength within sovereignty — we utilize physical objects of the material world that hold meaning for us to help create sacred space paralleling the sacred time carved out by the practice of Shabbat.
Daily Omer Wellness Practice 5780 Day 43: For today’s practice of Chesed (lovingkindess) within Malkhut, we take inspiration from the moon to share the light of others in our life who light is deserving of and could use some sharing.
Daily Omer Wellness Practice 5780 Day 42: As we close our week of Yesod — connection — today we bring in Malkhut, sovereignty and groundedness, with a practice focusing on our own tree of life: on the roots that nourish and sustain us, the branches that allow us to reach for new places and new energy, and the core that holds it together, providing stability and resilience.
Daily Omer Wellness Practice 5780 Day 41: Today we bring our focus to strengthening foundation and connection for our practice of Yesod within Yesod. We’ll start in mountain pose, focusing on bringing our bodies into alignment, stacked and strong; then move into a seated meditation pose, looking for a similar sense of alignment and strength.
Daily Omer Wellness Practice 5780 Day 40: Today, we channel Noah and his family after the flood and our wandering Israelite ancestors by taking a walk outside. Barefoot.
